How did frontier women do it? Brave the unknown to settle in primitive settlements. Raise crops, livestock and chickens to maturity. Suffer loneliness, sickness and birthing with little comfort.
I was beat after canning tomatoes yesterday in a modern kitchen and I had help. Yikes!
Growing up, I read lots of pioneer books and felt that I had once lived in that era. Clearly, that was a fantasy.
